Read the rule, inspect a verified example, and listen before attempting repetition. Try to describe the sound you are listening for, then ask a qualified teacher to correct your description if needed.
Finish with retrieval
Close the lesson and ask yourself what the condition was, what letters were involved, and what mistake you were watching for. Short quizzes are useful when they explain the answer rather than simply mark it right or wrong.
