What is Sifaat al-Huruf?

Once a learner knows where a letter is produced, the next step is understanding its qualities. This includes lightness, heaviness, softness, roughness, and other characteristics that affect how the sound is heard and produced. These qualities are essential for rules such as Tafkhim, Tarqiq, and Qalqalah, and they also support recognition in Noon, Meem, Lam, and Raa cases.
